Explore the cultural, historic and scenic highlights of Stirlingshire, Scotland's Gateway to the Highlands on a unique one day tour this winter. Departing from the Stirling area and travelling through the breathtaking Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park to the delightful Victorian resort village of Luss upon the 'Bonnie Bonnie Banks' of one of Scotland's most famous lochs. After refreshments we travel onward to the stunning Falls of Dochart near the picturesque village of Killin where we visit the Killin Hotel for lunch. A peaceful drive through Stirling's rural heart to Doune Castle, as famous for its prominence in the Jacobite Rebellion and Scottish Wars of Independence as its starring role in a variety of big and small screen productions such as Outlander and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Followed by a scenic wander along the banks of the nearby River Teith before returning to your accommodation in the Stirling area.
